First of all, I wanted to "Thank You" everyone for all your continued prayers! You guys are such prayer warriors, as many has been answered! :) Please pray for God's direction, protection & clarity for our family as we're going through more big changes in our life. It seems He's continually stretching us in our faith in Him! :)
While in Phuket, Thailand we're seeking to move out of the area that we're in as the 'High Season' is just around the corner, and this area is more touristy, and not very family oriented! We've been looking at houses away from all this and even closer to our Son's school, in hopes to also keep our cost of living down! Please pray that God casts away all of Satan's evil attacks & plans for our family as we're in the search for this new "home away from home"! Also, for His provision & resources to make all this happen! We've found many homes that are safe, clean, comfortable and affordable, but the main concern is having the spiritual wisdom to recognize it's "God's path" not the enemies!
Also, as most of you know, we've been waiting for our son's visa to be accepted by the Immigration, but still waiting to hear back from them. We've both been in touch with Senator Cantwell, in hopes that she can follow up on our case, and usually she responds very quickly, but it's been more than two weeks this time around, and still nothing! So, please pray that if it's God's will for us to be in Thailand for a while that we endure this time in the darkest place of this country..and to keep our eyes on Him who strengthens us against any temptations, and our families well-being! Lastly, my thoughts & prayers are with the church, and all it's 'happening'. We miss you all dearly... and Thank You!
Please pray for our daughter Melanie. She has again had to go the emergency room for severe pain in her liver and abdominal region. Pray that the doctors will discover why this keeps happening and the wisdon to diagnose and for a treatment or cure.
Melanie, my mother, has remained incredibly strong and patient with her medical problems. and while i cannot say that she is cured, i am happy to announce we believe we have a diagnosis. never before have i seen so many people care and strive for the healing of a woman in a way like this. everyday i can see your prayers lifting her spirits, and aiding her health. thank you so much to those of you who have prayed for her, and thank you to those who continue to ask and show interest in my mom. although her being in pain and hurting is heartbreaking, i feel as though this ordeal has brought the Foleys as a family closer together, and me closer to my faith...thank you all i will do my best to answer any questions. i will be at church this Sunday, i am the one that plays bass...and again, thank you everyone ~Sam Foley
A friend of ours named Beverly Tuvey is in ICU after having 4 surgeries in the last 2 weeks (I think that puts her up to 16 since 1995). She is not doing well at all. Her neurosurgeon is stumped as to why fluid keeps building up on her brain. He is currently meeting with a team of neurosurgeons to see if they can come up with what their next step would be. Her daughter Sarah Tuvey is a YWAM missionary who Daybreak supports monthly.
I am asking that you would please lift her, her family, and her surgeon up in prayer. Please pray that the Lord would heal her body, that He would give her family peace (as this is just excruciating on them), and that He would give wisdom to her surgeons! Bev is an amazing woman with an incredible family. I know that the Lord is in control of everything - and that He will be glorified.

I'd like to ask for your prayer over our family, and I know many of you already pray for us (Thank you!), while we're here in Thailand. We're all in good spirits and healthy, but under constant, heavy attack. Like it might be for many of you, things are tight financially and Satan loves to use that to try and create doubts about God's provisions in our lives. God does provide, He has our whole lives, even before coming to know Him as our Lord and Savior. But it's a constant battle to defend our hearts and minds of discouraging thoughts, etc. Many times, it seems when money is scarce, there is a new bill or fee that we're faced with. Tomorrow I leave for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as a requirement to renew my VISA to be able to stay with my family. We honestly cannot afford it, but we know God is providing and trust Him in this. It seems we are faced with these challenges each week as Satan tries to distract us from His grace and provision.
Would you pray that each time 'we', our family and this church body, are faced with these challenges, that we see them as an opportunity to praise God for His provision, and to ask for continued sustenance? Please pray for our children, that they would see Christ in us and that He would give us the wisdom and guidance to raise them according to His Word. Thank you again for all of your prayers,.. I cannot begin to describe how effect they are, and how powerful those prayers have been in our lives.
